The short version. Your notes are yours. You can use Notiero without an account, and what you write stays on your device. Nothing you type is sent anywhere unless you turn on sync, and even then it is encrypted. We never read your notes.
Notiero is made by Oasis Techno Cloud. In this policy, "we" means Oasis Techno Cloud.
When you write in Notiero, your notes are saved in your own browser or app on your device. You do not need an account to start, and if you never sign in, your notes never leave your device.
If you lock a note with a password, it is encrypted on your device. The password stays with you. We cannot read a locked note, and we cannot recover it if you forget the password.
Signing in turns on sync so your notes can travel between your devices. When sync is on, your notes are encrypted before they are stored, using a key tied to your account. We store the encrypted copy so it can reach your other devices. We do not read it, and it is not used for anything else.
Turn sync off or sign out at any time. Signing out on a device removes the local copy of your synced notes from that device.
You can let an AI app, such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor, work with your notebook. Nothing is shared until you create a key or approve a connection in Settings › For your AI.
What an AI app can do. It can add notes, add to notes and sort them into folders, only inside a folder called AI. It can never delete a note. If you allow reading when you connect it, it can also search and read the notes in that AI folder, and nothing outside it. Locked notes and notes it saved as private are never readable by any AI app.
What we store for this. A note an AI app writes waits in a short-lived inbox, encrypted at rest, until your device picks it up and adds it to your notebook. If you allow reading, your device keeps a copy of the AI folder on our servers, encrypted at rest, so the AI app can search it. We open it only to answer that app's requests. We store only a scrambled fingerprint (hash) of each key and connection, never the key itself. Connections sign in with OAuth and their access expires after an hour unless renewed.
What the AI app receives. When an AI app reads a note, that text goes to the app you connected and is handled under its own privacy policy. We do not send your notes to any AI app you did not connect.
Turning it off. Revoke any key or connected app in Settings › For your AI and it loses access at once. When you revoke the last one that could read, the stored copy of your AI folder is deleted.
Notiero runs on hosting and analytics services that process this data on our behalf so the app can work and so we can see anonymous usage. Some optional features, like turning a note into a study aid, send the text you chose to a processing service only for that request, and only when you ask for it.
You can use Notiero fully without an account. You can export your notes at any time. You can delete a note, empty the trash, or sign out to remove the local copy. To delete your account and its synced data, or to ask what is stored, contact us below.
Notiero is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
